Your privacy comes first. SOS Guardian is designed so all your data stays on your device, and we collect nothing about you.

1) Data we collect

We collect no personal data at all. The app has no servers, no accounts, no tracking, no ads, and no analytics. The developer never receives or sees any of your data.

2) Data processed only on your device

• Contacts: the emergency names/numbers you add are stored locally on your device only.
• Location (GPS): used only when you trigger an alert, to attach a map link to the message sent to the contacts you chose. No background location and no location at any other time.
• Messages & Calls: messages are sent via your device's messaging app and calls are placed directly to the emergency contacts you set — never through any third party.
• Microphone & Camera: during an alert the app may record audio and capture photos as evidence, stored locally on your device only. Never uploaded automatically; sharing is manual and up to you.

3) Data sharing

We do not share your data with anyone. The only data that leaves your device is the emergency message (text + location link) and the calls, sent only to the emergency contacts you entered yourself.

4) Permissions and why

• CALL_PHONE: to call your contacts automatically during an emergency.
• Location: to attach your location to the alert (only during an alert).
• Microphone / Camera: to record audio/photo evidence during an emergency.
• Contacts: to pick emergency contacts from your phone book.
• Display over other apps: (optional) to enable the "black screen" during an alert for your protection.
• Background running / Notifications: to stay ready to detect the panic trigger.

5) Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.

6) Data deletion

Since all data is local, uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes everything (contacts, recordings, photos).
